  Worth the walk. A beautiful well thought out garden. Lovely restaurant also in an old school building which has been restored.

  Very beatiful. Plenty of seats near the walk ways. Signs up explaining what the trees or plants are. Massive big blue butterflies and best of all a lovely Cafe to sit inside or out to have from meals or just a coffee and to service was very good and there is wheel chair access and rest rooms.

  Absolutely stunning display of North Queensland flower and plant species. A must see if you are in Townsville and love the outdoors or gardening. Perfect backdrop for wedding or lifestyle photo shoots. Manicured, lush and plenty of walking paths, along with a small cafe at the entrance/exit.

  Palmetum is an absolutely wonderful place to go for a walk to and luckily for me is located only minutes from my home

  A beautiful Gardens experience, a large variety of plants and all very well Tagged, Nice how it's been broken up into designated area's, with a pleasant walking track and pathways linking each together. The creek running through is a bonus. Couldn't find a couple of palm plants, but it's not to say they don't have them, there is so many there, that I may just have missed them. If you like Palms or plants in general, this is a must see.
