    Relaxed suburban pub - nothing else. When it actually rains in Townsville watching the weir run over with beers is a great way to spend an afternoon.

    Nice comfortable pub. From the giant screen for sports, to the function room, to the nice big deck where you can enjoy a meal, it’s a great place to hang out with mates for a drink or with the family for a feed.

    Although today was very busy with a Football Club function, the service was still very quick, friendly and polite. The food was great. We would recommend the Riverview Tavern for lunch.

    We have done a lot of traveling but we never experienced a place like Riverview Tavern. Excellent service friendly people .Nice and clean room and lovely meals. Surrounding is also fantastic plenty of wildlife and walking tracks. Thanks Riverview Tavern we will be back and recommended your place to our family and friends. Jack and Tina Oostra.

    I like the location but the staff here are really not that friendly or personable. Nice place to have a beer overlooking the river, decent pub-style food too. However don't expect friendly staff.
